Our XL Kit & Vase set is the perfect starter size for hospitality businesses like spas or restaurants, and events such as larger dinner parties, weddings, company parties etc. Just fill the vases with Foton pearls, insert a wick, and light your candle. Each wick will burn around 12 hours, and you can relight the same wick or replace the wick after it cools to light a brand new candle each time. This set contains
- 6 candle vases - each 4"cube in size
- 9lb (2 gallons) of either scented or unscented candle pearls - enough to fill the 4" cube vases 13 times
- 100 2” long wicks, each burn around 12 hours
- Scoop to make it easy to fill the vases with candle pearls.
Foton Candle pearls are plant-based, vegan, and burn cleanly with minimal smoke or soot. Our pearls are derived from certified sustainably sourced and highly purified coconut wax. They do not contain paraffin, soy or any known allergens. We use both natural and synthetic fragrances to scent our scented versions. Our scents are free of phthalates and parabens.
Foton burns slower than normal candles - only
around 0.1lb of Foton pearls are consumed per candle during an 8-hour event, the rest
can be reused as brand new next time. The total burn time per product varies greatly based on how it's used. Are you using 1 or more wicks at a time? Do you relight the same wick or replace it to refresh your candle? How long do you burn your candle before refreshing it? All these things affect the total burn time.

How Much Foton Do I Need?
1lb of Foton Pearls fills a 4-inch diameter cylinder to a 4-inch height. See above image for how many candles of different sizes you can make from different Foton products. To calculate exactly how much product you need for your specific setup, download the free Foton Candle Calculator.
What about the wicks?
Plenty of wicks are included with every Foton. Each wick burns around 12 hours, just make sure to insert the wick all the way into the pearls to maximize the burn time. You can relight the same wick or replace it between uses if you want to refresh your candle.
About the scents...
Foton candles have a medium to mild scent throw as they're often used for large centerpieces. If you're looking for a strong scented candle, Foton may not be right for you.
Please note all of our colored versions currently only come unscented, but you can add your own scent to them.
Do they float?
All of our white pearls float on water while our colored products are NOT suitable for floating candles. We recommend pouring at least a 2" height of white pearls on top of water and making sure the bottom of the wick is not touching the water.
Safe for pets
Our pearls are plant-based, clean-burning, and pet-friendly. We still recommend keeping them out of reach of pets since they’re technically not edible and burning with real fire, but you'll be glad to know the pearls are non-toxic and not expected to be harmful if a small amount is ingested.

Foton uses the tiniest wax beads to create the pearled candle that can be poured in almost any container. Use it as snow for your Christmas village, put it in an oyster shell, or reuse an old candle jar you love!

We offer both unscented and various scented versions in the white color only. You can see all the scent descriptions in one of the images and in the drop-down menu above. Please note all of our colored versions currently only come unscented, but you can add your own scent to them by adding essential or candle fragrance oils close to the wick before lighting it.

Nope, you can relight the same wick multiple times and burn it as long as it lasts. Each wick can burn around 12 hours. That said, we give you plenty of wicks with every Foton so you could refresh your candle as often as you'd like to make it look new again.
You can also cut the wick and re-use the part that hasn't been used yet, or flip the wick to bury the melt pool for zero waste while still making your candle look brand new. Keep in mind cutting the wick will shorten the burn time.

Fireproof containers are recommended, but it's possible to also use other containers safely as long as they're big enough. The key is to prevent the melt pool from reaching the container edge and to keep the container from heating up while burning. Generally, that means 4" minimum container width at the narrowest part for a single wick but test it carefully and make sure the container is not heating up while burning.
