How to Use a Foton Candle in 5 Simple Steps

1. Choose the Right Container

Start with a container you love. While fireproof containers are the most recommended, you can safely use other containers too, like wooden containers, as long as they meet the right size requirements.

Here’s the key: The container needs to be large enough to prevent the melt pool from reaching the container's edge. This is both for fire safety (prevents the container from overheating) and for easy cleanup (nothing sticks to the container). 

• At least 4 inches wide

•  2 inches of pearls around each wick and between the wicks and decor. 

• 1 inch between the bottom of the wick and the container.

Avoid plastic or flammable materials, and never leave your candles burning unattended.

2. Pour in the Candle Pearls

Open your Foton Pearled Candle and slowly pour it into the container. The pearls feel like soft grains and settle easily. Fill to about an inch from the top.

3. Insert the Wick (No Wick Holder Needed!)

Insert your Foton wick, leaving just the tip of the wick sticking out to light it. You don’t need any glue or holders—the pearls support it naturally.

Tips:

• Use 1 wick for 4" containers
• Make sure to have at least 1" of pearls under the wick.
  

• Keep at least 2" of space around the wick.

4. Optional: Add Essential Oils for Fragrance

Want to add scent to your Scent Free Foton Candle? Drop a few drops of essential oil (like lavender, eucalyptus, or orange) near the wick BEFORE lighting. 

5. Light Your Candle and Enjoy
