Interested in colored pearls for your event? You can now order small (<1oz) samples of our unscented, colored products to pick your favorite. Once you decide on the shade(s) you're looking for, you can order a larger quantity. Colors are offered in our 2-gallon (9lb) XL Kit and 55lb Bulk Bag sizes.

Please note that these samples are for color reference only, not large enough to burn, and no wicks are included. Also, we only offer scented options in the white color, other colored options only come unscented. That said, you can add your own scent to our unscented products - see how on our FAQ Page.

Please also note that while our white pearls float on water, our colored products are currently not suitable to be used for floating candles.

The samples did not have a scent

Really wanting to try these candles, the samples had no fragrance! Not wanting to buy a larger candle without knowing what the scent is.

Currently, all of our colored versions are unscented. You can, however, add a few drops of your favorite essential or fragrance oil close to the wick before lighting it to give it a scent. You can find more info about how to do that on our Instructions page.

Neat idea

I didn't get a strong scent from any of the flavors of the samples I ordered but it works as advertised and I will probably use it in the future to refill some pretty candle containers I have gotten over the years.

Longer wicks would be a nice option for pillar size candles but not sure if it would burn right in the tall skinny shape.

Regarding the scent, all of our colored versions are currently only available unscented, we offer various scented versions in the white color. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil close to the wick before lighting it to give it a scent. Please keep in mind oils are very flammable so they should never be added to a burning candle.

About the vase size, the reason why we recommend a 4” minimum vase diameter is to keep the melt pool from reaching the edge of the cylinder. This is both for both fire safety (prevents the glass from heating up in case it’s not a fireproof container) and to keep clean-up very easy (no messy wax cleanups from the glass!).

Awesome concept! There were only 2 scent samples and for the amount you get (for those and the color samples) it’s quite small. I would like to see a cheaper sample and more options for scents.
